The posters are up so it must be real!

The talented cast of this most popular play have been rehearsing for months, discovering the challenges and delights of performing Shakespeare.

The cast of Twelfth Night.

Traditionally at WLT, it’s when the posters go up that reality sets in and the adrenalin races as opening night draws near, but this cast refuse to be daunted and took a moment out of rehearsals for a cast photo!

Director Martin Green comments, ‘ It’s 75 years since Twelfth Night was last performed at WLT when famously, Ian McKellen found his love for acting a

nd Shakespeare. If we inspire a new generation of actors it will be a bonus. I’m looking forward to the production which I know everyone who already loves Shakespeare will enjoy; new audiences will be surprised how much they enjoy the Bard’s most famous comedy. If you are fearful of Shakespeare, don’t let it keep you away – we are working hard to make this a funny, easy-to-follow night at the theatre!’
